High Adventure Trips

For many Scouts and adult leaders, the most unforgettable experience in Scouting is a trip to one of Scouting America's high adventure bases.

In 2023, our troop experienced its first high adventure trip at the Florida Sea Base, where we participated in the STEM Adventure. The Scouts went snorkeling, helped in the on-site coral nursery, created an underwater robot, ventured to an uninhabited island, and even tagged sharks! The Scouts who went had so many good things to say about the experience that when it was time to vote on the next high adventure trip, the trooped overwhelmingly chose to go back to Sea Base. The next trip is planned for 2026.
